After a quick run-through it sounds like Himself (Andre) really comes into his own as a rapper on this album; we already know he is talented, but on Shadowsrunners he sounds more focused and more confident in his abilities than he has in the past. Froskees does really well on the production too. There is some great stuff here, although some of the electro-tinged songs doesn’t do much for me. “Dolly Parton” is a particular favorite.
